On October 31, 2025, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Dongfang Gas Turbine (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. held a grand ceremony for the Phase III launch of the GT-MI system. The event opened with a video reviewing the development journey of the GT-MI system, vividly showcasing the evolution from paperless recording to full-process intelligent operations.

Our team, along with leaders and project leads from partner organizations including the Institute of Electronics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Guangzhou Jinhe, gathered at the site. Together with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Dongfang Gas Turbine and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Takasago Works, we witnessed this important milestone. During the launch ceremony, team leader Yu Fang, on behalf of the project team, presented the key delivery to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Dongfang Gas Turbine.
This product serves high-end manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, gas turbines, and shipbuilding. It performs automated high-precision defect detection, defect dimension measurement, and workpiece qualification assessment on heterogeneous components, addressing the limitations of existing industrial vision inspection products, including low versatility, incomplete detection coverage, and insufficient detection capability. The system integrates key technologies including 2D + 3D data acquisition, multi-dimensional data fusion, robotic control, and collaborative operation control. It can detect and identify defects as small as 0.1mm on industrial components ranging from 0.1 to 1 meter in size, with comprehensive defect type coverage and an accuracy rate exceeding 95%, helping customers reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance efficiency.
